This will be a dull day to read about: RDF on the trails stopped me hiking either Lookout Trail or Green Gardens in Gros Morne as I'd hoped, so I hit the road for the 720 km journey to St. John's. It was a long drive, and at the end there was a bit of a SNAFU with the B&B I was staying at - but it was sorted and it's a nice place at a reasonable price (this is an expensive town to get a room in) only six blocks from downtown. The final score was zero photos taken, one t-shirt purchased (Terra Nova), two gas fill-ups, and about 800km on the tachometer.
