The Maker's Mark distillery in Loretto, Kentucky. This was a very educational tour. Bourbon isn't quite as high on my personal scale as scotch, but I like it and really enjoyed the tour. The whisky ages in barrels for about seven or eight years (they won't give you a hard number because it varies) and in that time, they lose an average of 1/3 of every barrel to leakage and evaporation. They call it "the angel's share."
