Dragonfruit entertains me. It's one of the weirdest looking fruit on the face of the planet - its closest competition is probably the rambutan. I mean, who would add green flaps to a pink fruit? In Canada they cost about $4 a piece. In Asia they're relatively expensive at about $1.25 per kilo in both Vietnam and Cambodia, but obviously quite cheap by North American standards. I've heard some people who don't like it: "oh, it's like a kiwi but boring!" I beg to differ: it's a mild but delicious fruit, with a kiwi-like taste and texture. Try it if you get the chance.
